Teachers:

This WebQuest is developed for tertiary students in psychology, neuroscience, biology, and related subjects. Educators can integrate the curriculum into existing courses or offer this lesson and associated assessment as an extra-credit activity.

Students are expected to have a solid foundation in elementary neuroscience, including brain mapping, correlation studies, and neurotransmission. It may seamlessly integrate into dopamine-reward pathway lessons or serve as a culminating project. Learners with differential backgrounds have access to study curricula to successfully complete the proposal.

Standards

All colleges and universities implement their unique standards for academic instruction. The content of this WebQuest can fit into a variety of courses and inclusive lessons. The most common combinations are :

  • Introduction to Neuroscience (All)
  • Introduction to Biology (Basics of Neuroscience)
  • Introduction to Psychology or Physiological Psychology (Drug Addiction and Abuse, Research Methods)
Learning Objectives
